Fine Dining with the Mayor
Boho Bistro, Great Norwood Street.
Fancy a soupçon of wild salt cod & masala lentils or pumpkin & pine nut ravioli? Bring your party of up to 15 guests to join the Mayor for a delicious five course tasting menu by award-winning local chef Taj Uddin. Dates subject to availability at the venue and the Mayor’s diary.

£49 per head (not including the Mayor!).

The MX Mayor’s Quiz
Hub8 MX near Chester Walk (opposite Cheltenham Minster)
Pit your wits against master quizmaster Paul Wheeldon’s fiendish but quirky questions. Break for tasty food by Moosh! There is no strict team size and you can join a team on the night. A bar will be available.

The Grand Mayor’s Ball 2026
featuring Kim Cypher
Pittville Pump Room
Get your fancy frocks and posh togs on for an evening of music & dance including a delicious three course meal in the stunning setting of Pittville Pump Room. With the saxxy star of this year’s Jazz Festival Kim Cypher and the Dancin’ Easy band.

Chilly Cheltenham Challenge
Cheltenham Lido, Keynsham Road
Brave enough to be sponsored for a cold water dip? Or just want to sponsor Mayor Martin Horwood? Will he make it the whole length of the Lido’s 50m pool in chilly November?

Pittville Pump Room
A magical candlelit introduction to Indian classical music and dance with mouth-watering street food by Mumbai n Co. Featuring the dancers of the Nethra Academy of Performing Arts and internationally acclaimed bharatnatyam dancer and choreographer Anusha Subramanyam.

All Saints Church, All Saints Road
A musical anniversary celebration in the magnificent All Saints Church with Charlton Kings Choral Society in their 70th year and 100 years after the first local performance of Gustav Holst’s Planets suite. With new work by Cheltenham’s own Clive Rogers.
